Our college has undertaken clinical teaching since 1962, upholding the tradition of cultivating virtuenurturing talent across generations. Our undergraduate medical program spans three primary disciplines in the medical field. It comprises 23 Departments, including the Department of Internal Medicine,a pioneering Department of Medical Big DataArtificial Intelligence which integrates bioinformaticsmedicine in an innovativeorganic way. Each year, our college provides clinical theorypractice teaching courses for more than 3,100 undergraduate medical students, delivering nearly 10,000 hours of theoretical instructionmore than 7,000 hours of practical training every year. Additionally, we offer clinical theorypractice courses to more than 310 international students annually, with more than 330 hours of theoretical teachingmore than 120 hours of practical instruction.

Our college attaches great importance to the development of academic programscurricula. Currently, we host one national-level first-class undergraduate program (Medical Laboratory Technology), one provincial-level first-class undergraduate program in Hunan Province (Medical Imaging), We also offer one high-quality online open course at the provincial level (Clinical Anesthesiology),one virtual simulation experiment teaching project (Virtual Simulation Experiment Teaching System for Coronary Artery Imaging (Angiography)) in Hunan Province. Every year, our undergraduate medical students are awarded projects in the National College Students InnovationEntrepreneurship Training Programthose in key supported fields.
